Why HCS ?
HCS offers numerous advantages over the competition. We understand that buying a new home is usually the biggest investment a person will make. Most home builders make the building process much more difficult on the buyer than it should be. We will help you make a wise investment and have a great experience building your new home.
Hunziker has been involved in building homes since 1952. The company relocated and renamed itself HCS in 1995.
No construction loan is needed. After the initial 1% earnest money is given at time of contract signing, HCS carries the financing until the completion date when you close at the bank. This not only saves you money, it saves you valuable time and unnecessary headaches associated with a construction loan. Very few home builders offer this benefit.
HCS makes it easy for you during construction. We have full-time building designers, project coordinators, and an estimator that help guide you through the entire process. We have fine tuned the selection process with an accurate construction schedule and a comprehensive, step-by-step homeowner’s construction manual.
HCS guarantees the completion date of your home. We are confident of our completion dates because of our accurate construction schedule, reliable employees, contractors and suppliers.
HCS is not satisfied with “OK”. We continually review and improve our construction practices to stay ahead of the curve. We strive to make our homes more energy efficient to save you money and better built to stand the test of time. HCS builds every home with the same care, quality and integrity no matter what the price range.
Most builders have a warranty, but will they honor it in a timely fashion or even at all?
Every builder will have call back and warranty items. There is not a builder that can build a perfect house. What separates the good builder from the bad is whether or not they will come back and correctly fix the problem in a timely manner. Before your project is started every builder will tell you they do callbacks. The only way you can get the real answer is to talk with previous customers.
